GymQuarters Junior classes are designed to let each child experience the sport of gymnastics. Specially trained staff teach curriculums designed with safety, fun and progressive skill development. We provide class rotations where each child has a station of activity and learning. Our Junior program is very unique with the fact that the children are grouped by "skill level". All children start at Level 1. We practice skills for two weeks, then evaluate for two weeks. This process continues year round and allows the children to progress at their own pace. As a child masters all the skills at one level, they will then advance to the next level. Low teacher to student ratios promote safety and progress. There are five children per one teacher for levels 1 and 2. Six children per one teacher are allowed for levels 3 and 4. Most of the Junior staff are adults. These are entry levels that teach basic tumbling, trampoline, gymnastics skills, strength and flexibility. Gymnasts are expected to have a minimum proficiency of each skill to move to the next level. |

| This class is for children under the age of 3, and a parent to assist. One full hour of introductory level gymnastics basics, core body awareness and development. Classroom situations are introduced while learning our Peridot level class skills. The parent helps their child learn basic things like listening to the teacher, following a series of directions, making a line and taking turns. Quite possibly the "cutest" class we have. These small little children create the perfect atmosphere for smiling, laughing and learning. | ||||
